Meeting at Lewisham Council, Catford Town Hall, 3 July at 19.00

We have had short notice, but on Tuesday at 7pm there is a meeting which will be chaired by Cllr Wise (Lewisham Councillor in charge of housing), local Councillors, Lewisham officials, reps from Regenter, and from leaseholders' association. All are more than welcome. It will be at the Town Hall in Catford. We had a series ...

This blog is not an official conduit!

Today a number of Brockley leaseholders attended the Lewisham Council meeting at the Town Hall, Catford. Cllr Johnson (Brockley) and Cllr Davis (Ladywell) and one of the BLA committee asked questions over the purpose of Regenter's new "Leasehold Forum" and their plans for the next round of cyclical decoration works.  At some point, Lewisham will ...

Lewisham finally concedes Regenter B3 "has not met expectations"

Lewisham's annual report of the cowboy PFI contract has been published on the Council's website. For the first time, Lewisham has admitted that Regenter B3 (made up of Regenter, Pinnacle, Higgins and Equipe) has failed to deliver anything near a good service to leaseholders. Another document outlining the performance targets Lewisham has put on Regenter B3 ...

The Annual Service Charge farce

By now you should have all received your annual Service Charge estimate for 2012/13. However,  some of you have noted that there are errors in the outstanding amount, with payments over the last year not counting against your balance. Regenter B3 are pointing the finger at an ever-incompetent Lewisham Council for failing to do the ...

Hilly Fields Orchard Wassailing – an artistic view

Back in February we held our second wassailing event at the orchard on Hilly Fields. Amongst the group was a  local artist, John Kerry, who as I think you'll agree has managed to really capture the essence of the day, bounding around in snow and wishing the trees well!
